My sister-in-law has been residing at these apartments since 2023 and had no issues until June of this year. Since then, she has been experiencing mold in her bathroom. Despite numerous service requests being submitted, maintenance has repeatedly closed them without actually addressing or treating the problem.
Additionally, she has now been without hot water or heat for three days, and no one has come to resolve the issue. We attempted to contact the after-hours maintenance emergency line, only to discover that the service is suspended. We then called the after-hours customer service line, but were told they do not service this propertyâeven though it is managed by AMC. We were informed that the invoice for this service has not been paid, leaving residents without a way to reach the community in emergencies. How is this property being managed under these circumstances?
Today, my brother-in-law went to the leasing office to speak with staff but was met with rude and dismissive behavior. We requested contact information for the regional manager, and the staff refused to provide it. Instead, they questioned whether service requests had been submittedâdespite the fact that we have proper documentation showing ongoing, unresolved issues.
My sister-in-law is pregnant and should not be subjected to unsafe living conditions or this level of neglect. Someone needs to contact us today, as this situation is unacceptable and requires immediate attention.
